Here are some of my ideas about managing your twitter profile, how to get more twitter followers, making the most out of the time you spend tweeting and how to set up your twitter account.

Create you profile page and it look like your website, blog or shop
1. Choose a relevant twitter name my company is Wright Computing LLC my website is wrightcomputing.com and my twitter is @wrightcomputing make yours similar so people recognize you
2. Use your company logo for your image
3. Customize the colors to match your website, shop or blog
4. Add as much info to your profile as possible add Bio, location, website, company name


Who to follow
1. Decide your target follows and concentrate on them. If you have a Shop in Sarasota follow people from Sarasota see if you can find a list of the people you are searching for and follow the followers.
2. Follow people that follow other accounts like yours
3. If you sell Android apps search for Android and follow those people and their followers
4. Follow all your appropriate followers

What to tweet
1. Try to be interesting
2. Tweet regularly at regular intervals, once or twice a day is better then 50 tweets one day a month
3. Add links to your tweets, don't just try to sell things, give tips, news articles, interesting things
4. Re-Tweet If you read a great tweet that is relevant to your followers then re-tweet it
5. Include keywords about your company to your tweets.  The new search feature searches tweets content so add lots of good keywords

Talk to people
1. Reply to people if you like one of their tweets
2. Talk to people, most people will reply if you send then a message this helps to build relationships
3. Offer advice, tell other what you know

Invite tweeters to your Social Media
1. Add links to your other sites such as Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, Website etc.
2. Send an auto Direct Message (DM) to new followers there are lots of apps available that allow you to do this

Do Not
1. Do not spam people
2. Never Tweet the same tweet twice
3. Don't tweet like a belt fed machine gun

Test and tune
1. Try out different techniques to improve your twitter if you have any extras please comment below.
2. Listen to all advice and decide what works best for you
3. Write different types of tweets and see what works best for your company.
