Wright Computing LLC is helping small businesses move there services to cloud computing.  Our goal is to set up your company with web based applications that will give you all the services a server based network provides with greater efficiency, cheaper running costs and more.  Rather then operating and maintaining a server you use super-servers based in the clouds where you only pay for what you use, saving you company thousands of dollars per year.  You will have the freedom to access to all your information when and where  you want it.

Email services
Google Apps Premier is our preferred platform for email, calendar, contact and collaborative documents.  You will have your own private email domain @mycompany.com with each user having there own Google apps account with the benefits of the following services.

Gmail
Gmail is accessible from any platform be it PC, Mac, Linux, Smartphone, Ipad etc.  Log into your Google apps account and it will look virtually the same on each device, with 25GB of storage, advanced Spam filters, built in google search technology, threaded emails and everything else you expect from a world class email provider.

Google Apps Calendar
Customize your calendar, set alerts, add events, invite others to your events, have multiple calendars, share calendars, update events in real time allowable by all event participants, automatically send out emails invites with an accept buttons and access your calendar from anywhere.  The Google Apps Calendar is probably one of the best calendars available.

Google Chat/Voice
Google Apps has its own built in chat with text, voice and video.  You can add multiple users to your conversation to host a conference.  This service is great for online collaboration, asking a quick question, hosting a meeting or just catching up with an old friend.

Google Docs
The new way to work,  Google Docs provide realtime, online collaboration.  Create documents which everyone can simultaneously access, edit, view other edits and see who is currently viewing and editing the document.  Using Google Docs combined with Google’s video, voice and chat makes online collaboration streamlined and effective.  Google gears allows you to modify documents whilst offline, automatically updating the document the next time you connect.  Airline travel is now a time to be productive.

Google Contacts
Revolutionizing  contacts with a fresh approach using labels rather then folders.  With Googles contacts, your contacts are stored in one place and accessible from multiple devices.  Your labels allow contacts to be grouped for fast effective searching.  With labels a single contact could be in multiple groups.  There is also a great merge tool to create one detailed contact from duplicate entries.  We will set you up with one list of all your contacts accessed by each of your devices.

Google Sync
Google Apps are new and a lot of the services are new.  We all know it takes time to learn new programs and it is difficult to move a company or an individual to a new way of doing things.  Google Sync allows you to set up your account to run in the more familiar Microsoft Outlook. This is very popular option for more experienced company members who don’t want to change the way they work but do want to reduce they company’s costs.  You can also sync up your smartphone with calendar, contacts and email to interact with your actual account without creating a copy of the data like traditional services do.  This feature gives you instant access to one seamlessly synced account constantly.

BACKING UP YOUR DATA
One of the greatest benefits of Cloud Computing is that equipment failure no longer results in loss of data.  We make sure all of your data is securely backed up using online storage in the clouds.  If your computer is damaged, lost or stolen then you can be working with all your information as soon as you have access to another computer.  To provide complete security you must have your data backed up in multiple places.  Here are some services we recommend to keep everything safe and completely protected. 

Sugarsync
Cloud storage at it’s best, Sugarsync is an application that constantly runs in the background of your computer or smartphone, backing up your files to the cloud.  You select the location of your important information and it is backed up automatically.  You can sync the desktops from two different machines, making them appear to be and act like one computer.  Share your document with other Sugarsync users.  Probably the best feature is that you can sign into Sugarsync from any computer and securely access your personal data.  Create either an individual account with personal storage space or a company account that shares one large storage area for all company employees and is more cost effective. 

Postini Archive Service
Google offers email protection services through the Postini servers.  Google Message security protects you from spam and viruses with customizable filters to suit your specific needs.  Google Message Discovery backs up a copy of all your messages and allows you to easily search your emails to protect against lost data, without the need for physical storage.  Google Web Security checks all your emails for viruses and spyware enforcing personalized web policies.  Finally, Google Message Encryption automatically encrypts emails for increased web security.  Postini is a premium service with varying cost depending on your level of protection.  We highly recommended this service.

Spanning Backup
This feature provides security for your Google Apps Calendar, Contacts and Documents.  Spanning Backup is a great solution which is super easy to use, can be set up for a personal account or an entire domain.  The data is backed up daily and with a few clicks you can have all your data restored from any point in your history.  Accidentally deleted documents, removed events in a calendar, or deleted contacts can be restored within minutes via Spanning Backup.

Summary
